The Bereavement Group is a place that companions people along their journey of grief after the loss of a loved one. This is a unique journey, entered upon through circumstance and not by choice. Experts recognize the need for mourners to be companioned by others. Our team listens attentively to people and consoles them in their loss. We accept people wherever they are in the grieving process. Those who grieve will not “get over” their grief, but hopefully they can get through it. Members of our group feel accepted and loved, and come to realize that, with God, they never walk alone. As the healing process advances, deep bonds are formed with the other members of our group.
