In 1989, a dedicated group of Salem area clergy and community members united with a shared vision to support seniors in need. This collaboration led to the creation of Greater Salem Caregivers, an organization committed to offering assistance and support through a network of volunteers. Their mission was to help individuals to maintain independence and thrive within their homes and communities. The founders recognized the challenges faced by the elderly, disabled, lonely, and those dealing with chronic illnesses and formed Greater Salem Caregivers. Today, Greater Salem Caregivers continues to stand as a beacon of hope and is providing vital aid to enhance the quality of life for seniors and disabled adults. If you would like to volunteer and make a real difference in the lives of seniors and other individuals in our communities, please reach out to Connie Young, 603-898-2850[email protected] to learn how you can get involved. Help work towards creating a better world, one act of kindness at a time.
