SALEM, NH (November 24, 2020) - - St. Joseph Regional Catholic School finished its three-week Food Drive Friday, November 20 with their annual Junior High Community Service Night. During this evening, students in grades six to eight assembled food items donated by students into baskets that will be donated to local families. Thanks to the generosity of St. Joseph school families, sixty-one baskets, complete with a turkey and all the trimmings for a Thanksgiving dinner for four, will be delivered by Thanksgiving. Baskets were donated to the food pantry at Sts. Mary and Joseph Parish, St. Matthew Parish, St. Luke Parish, and St. Anne Parish. "Service to our community is a significant part of a student's experience here at St. Joe's," explains Mrs. Mary Croteau, school principal. "We are proud of our students' efforts and pleased to help those in need this Thanksgiving." In addition to the many donations from students and their families, St. Joe's was blessed with donations from Hannoush Jewelers, Market Basket, Peter's Farm, and the Salem Rotary Club.
