Construction progress continues at Mary Queen of Peace Church, thanks to your continued generousity. Walls and partitions have been removed, improving traffic flow. Old VCT floors have been removed and replaced by new, modern, epoxy floors. Well, there's a lot more planned, but good things come to those who wait. Below you'll see a few progress photos, with more to come very soon.
1). Kitchen: expanding into the old office area, thus doubling in size and allowing us provide improved food and beverage service at Mercy Meals, social events, and other functions. New flooring. New USDA approved fire-rated ceilings and FRP walls installed this week.
2). Main Hall: old storage closet walls have been removed, providing additional occupancy space. New paint and flooring. New energy-efficient LED lighting in place. Sliding partition wall being removed, acoustical ceiling repairs next week.
3). Emmaus Room: folding partition removed, flooring removed. New flooring and new paint. New energy-efficient LED lighting and acoustical ceilings coming next week, God willing!
