For our parish family, the Church buildings are our spiritual home, so we naturally want them to look beautiful both inside and out. The Saints Mary and Joseph Parish Gardeners help by working during the spring and summer months to weed the church gardens and other parts of the properties, so that even our church grounds will give glory to God. More hands are always welcome, so if you like to garden and can spare a couple of hours a week, join us in helping to keep beautiful the outside of our churches.

Do you enjoy being outside and getting your hands into the dirt? Are you a weekend warrior who loves brandishing a hedge trimmer and clippers but have no place to use them since downsizing? Does the thought of getting your exercise out in nature appeal to you? We could use your enthusiasm, experience and energy! The parish has two campuses with lots of flower beds and shrubs that need tending every few weeks. Spreading the mulch once it is delivered, then doing some weeding every few weeks when the weather is good, or watering the beds during a dry spell, would be a great help!
