“Sing to the Lord a new song!”
Our Music Ministry is growing! Are you called to join us?
We are looking for members of the parish (young and young-at-heart) to share their gifts and talents in praising the Lord.
If you’re interested in learning more, please complete the sign-up sheet (near the entrances of each church) and Jessica will contact you with more information.
Please welcome our new Music Ministry Teams Members:
Agatha Choi, organist
Agatha was born in Korea, and she is an avid follower of Jesus Christ. She enjoys serving as a full-time mother to two teenage sons. She is a devoted and multi-faceted church musician (organist/pianist/vocalist) who enjoys collaborating with others. In her spare time, she teaches piano and stays active.
Agatha serves as organist for the 4PM (MQP) & 7:30AM (St. Joe’s) Masses and she is grateful to be praising the Lord through music at such a loving parish.
Scott Ness, Organist and Choir Director
Scott Ness was born and raised in Methuen, MA and is a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Merrimack College and the Washington Theological Union. He served for many years in parish ministry, educational institutions and missionary work in addition to his extensive service in music ministry. Scott is excited to be involved with the Adult Choir (11AM Mass on Sundays at MQP) here at Saints Mary and Joseph Parish, and he looks forward to joining all of you in giving praise to God through the beauty of music. Our choir members have been singing Scott’s praises for his musical gifts and kind leadership. The Choir rehearses at 6PM on Monday evenings. If you’re unable to make a weekly commitment, please consider joining the “Open Choir Day” on the first Sunday of each month.
