The Honduran mission team will be selling gift cards again this holiday season. We have no plan to take a team to Honduras in 2021 but we want to continue to help our friends in Honduras that we consider family. So our one fundraiser (other than the clothing bins) has been selling gift cards again this fall. All the money raised goes to help our friends in Honduras to replant crops that were destroyed by the drought. If you are staying away from crowds at the stores, but still want to get some gifts, this is an easy way to do it. You will be helping many people in the communities where we worked. The forms will be at the office since we cannot leave things at the church entrances.
Orders with payment must be returned by December 4th.
UPDATE: Many thanks to our Saints Mary and Joseph friends who placed an order from our gift cards fundraiser. Because of your
orders we will be able to help all our Honduran friends. The first order has already been sent in and is now on its way. I will call you if you include(d) your phone number on the form.
Due to those who got a jump on their Christmas shopping, we have already realized almost $700 that will go to help our friends in Honduras. They are suffering greatly because of Covid, the effects of fourteen months of drought, the ongoing issue with dengue fever, and now the devastating effects of hurricane Eta.
There’s still time to place an order for December--pick up a form at the office and get some of your shopping done. Be sure to include your phone number so that we can let you know when your order arrives.
