This is the last week to register for the Unique Lenten Discussion Group. For the six weeks of Lent, people will gather in small groups. Discussion will be based on Pope Francis’ encyclical on the environment, Laudato Si, “Care for Our Common Home.” Throughout his letter, there are calls for dialogue. Copies of the encyclical and a readers guide with study questions written by Jesuit Fr. Thomas Reese and published by the National Catholic Reporter will be provided for participants. Climate change is a very relevant topic, and this group study will help to inform and educate you. Weekly preparation prior to the meetings is expected to be about one hour. Day, time, and meeting location will be set for the convenience of the participants. Meeetings will last about two hours.
