The Granite State Fellowship is the Lions Club’s highest state recognition and is presented to an outstanding member of the club or of the community. This year they voted to give the award to James “Jim” Koczat.
”Volunteers do not necessarily have the time—they have the heart,” said Susan Hopkins who presented the award to Jim. He certainly has the heart of a volunteer and embodies the Lions motto, ‘We Serve.’ Jim is devoted to his family, his faith and his community. We are grateful here at our Parish for Jim’s wonderful contribution to our Music ministry. “It’s always my pleasure to help out and volunteer no matter what the call is,” said Jim. He thanked his wife and brother and said this award was also for them. He ended with, “God Bless you all.”
Congratulations, Jim, for your well-deserved recognition!
