Steubenville Live Conference Info:

This past Saturday I attended the Steubenville Live Conference at St. Matthews in Windham. This year due to Covid restrictions the conference was live streamed. Although it was quite different than other years it was nice to get everyone together, while still following guidelines, and pray, and praise the Lord together. There were dynamic talks by speakers such as Fr. Mike Schmitz and Chris Padget. There was also Mass and Adoration, which we got to experience first-hand thanks to Fr. Brian at St. Matthew’s. All who attended and who didn’t attend were lifted up in prayer. We’re thankful for Fr. Brian and the staff at St. Matthews for hosting this awesome conference, and hopefully next year we’ll be able to attend a conference in person!

Meanwhile, we continue to freshen-up the Youth Center in St. Julie Hall. We are painting and getting some new furniture and new ceilings as well. We're hoping to have an updated space for when the youth group returns again full-time to Sts. Mary and Joseph. Although we are missing the youth, this gives us a great opportunity to get some projects done!! Stay tuned for more updates as the summer progresses, and as we get ready to start booking some youth events! You are all in my prayers! -Beccah

I hope you are all enjoying your well-deserved summer after an odd spring. I will be sending out a welcome/introduction email soon with information on what is coming up in youth ministry here at Sts. Mary & Joseph Parish. Obviously, many of the things we will be doing will be virtual, due to COVID. Events that would normally be happening in the summer are still happening, but through virtual platforms. So, please be on the lookout. Also, make sure to forward the information, once you receive it, to those who you think will be interested! Also, hopefully before the end of the summer we can get together for a meet and greet! You are all in my prayers. I’m looking forward to meeting you all.
