CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) trains concerned citizens to advocate in the courts for abused and neglected children. You will need common sense, a commitment to children, and 10-15 hours of your time each month if you would like to help ensure that a young child has an opportunity to grow up in a safe and permanent home. If you would like to become a CASA/GAL volunteer, please call 1-800-626-0622, or apply at www.casanh.org/onlineapplication Training will begin in September.
Please DO NOT RESPOND to suspicious-looking emails or texts! If an email or text message requests funds or cash-equivalents (such as gift cards), or sensitive information such as passwords or pin codes, it is very likely a scam! Simply do not respond and delete the message, and block the sender if it is a text message. You should not forward the email or text message, but you may wish to alert your friends and family of the potential scam. Please know that Bishop Libasci, Fr. Vincent, Mary Croteau (St. Joseph School Principal), or any parish Staff member will NEVER ask for cash, gift cards, or sensitive info via email or text.
The proper disposal method of votive candles and other devotionals (if they have been blessed) is to burn or bury them. Please click for some important information as to what to do with blessed items, or religious articles that may arrive in the mail.
