I am Fr. Brigit Jenarvin Vasanth, but you can call me Fr. Brigit. I belong to the Order of St. Jerome Emiliani, also known as the Somascan Fathers. The charism of our order is to work with the poor, orphans, needy youth, and widows. Here in New Hampshire, we have a center for troubled youth called Pine Haven Boys Center. It’s a residential facility that cares for boys with behavioral, educational and emotional problems. I have been working at the program for the past 4 years. Originally, I come from India and am the youngest of four children. I was born on October 26, 1987, and ordained as a Priest on December 28, 2017 with the motto of “broken to be shared” based on the Eucharist. I have completed my two bachelor’s degrees in psychology and education and two Master’s degrees in theology and philosophy at Christ University in India. Recently, I completed my Masters in clinical mental health counseling at Rivier University and graduated in May 2022. I am truly excited to help at Saints Mary and Joseph Parish on weekends. Please keep me in your prayers, as I will always keep you and your families in mine.
