Dear Parish Family,

My name is Meghan Lemieux (soon to be Meghan Landry at the end of this month!) I am an alumni of Ave Maria University where I studied Communications & Theology. I am also a photographer and fine artist in my free time. This summer, I began running our Youth Ministry Program here at Saints Mary & Joseph. It has been a lot of fun getting to know families and delving into our faith life!

I will continue to run our Youth Group sessions for 4th-6th and 7th-9th graders in mid- September (after my wedding & after kids get a little settled in with school!)

What is Youth Group, you may be wondering? Youth Group is about creating a place of fellowship, deepening our prayer life and presenting opportunities for selfless service. This is a
 recreational program that you do not have to commit to nor pay to join. It is meant to be a free space for kids to come together with others of shared faith and grow closer to Jesus.
 
Our sessions meet bi-monthly for an hour and a half. We play games, have snacks, discuss a topic for the night and spend time in prayer at the church. Most of the time topics are tied in with feast days through the year, which is a fun way for kids to get to know traditions of our faith. We also have monthly events that families are welcome to join!
