I am writing this to briefly introduce
myself, as I join you as part of the parish community and the
pastoral team as an Evangelist focused on adult faith-enrichment.
Born and raised in Upstate NY, along with four
siblings I was brought up and educated in the faith by my parents,
whose lives and marriage were deeply impacted by the
Charismatic Renewal and the experience of the power of the
Holy Spirit. As a child of educators deeply committed to Jesus,
learning and the Lord have always been interconnected in my
life, and searching out and sharing the transformative truths
communicated by His Church has ever been a focus for me.
My life here in New Hampshire started in 2001, when I arrived to attend St.
Anselm College. My studies at St. Anselm focused on philosophy and theology, and
after graduating I taught related subjects at Holy Family Academy in Manchester,
NH for several years. Subsequent to that I pursued graduate studies in philosophy
at The Catholic University of America, before returning to NH and 6+ years of ministering
as an Evangelist and Apologist at St. Michael and St. Mary parishes in the
Seacoast region. Most recently, I spent two and a half years living a more contemplative
form of discipleship at St. Joseph Abbey in Spencer, MA.
I look forward to
working and worshiping among you, and ask for your prayers as I begin being with
you as part of the Church in Salem.
