Slice-of-the-Pie is our largest parish fundraiser since it began in 2005 and raises approximately $20,000 a year. When the program began, the cost to participate was $100 annually, and membership was limited to 300. As the fundraiser gained in popularity, the parish had to turn away participants, so in 2015 Fr. John and the committee decided to increase the membership to 350 and the annual membership fee remained at $100. At the same time, they increased the $125 monthly prizes from three to four. This gives every member 61 chances of to win! The Grand Prize drawings take place at a social gathering in May where ice cream, drinks, a real “slice of the pie” are served. Grand Prizes include ten of $150, and one each of $250, $500, and $1000. This is a fun way to support the parish—the biggest winner! Applications are available at both churches in late May and early June.
