What is it? How do we acquire it? How do we measure faith?
Jesus is all about it. Because of faith, we hope, pray and believe. Jesus shows us through his miracles and all that He teaches… there is a lot to believe in.
Look at everyday miracles……an acorn becoming a mighty oak tree, the birth of a newborn baby, or just uttering the words, “it’s a miracle”…..when something happens with no explanation!!!!!
I know many people who say “I do not believe.” I ask them what is it that has them questioning and turning away from their faith!!! They cannot answer me. It might have been an event in their life that has caused them to doubt their faith.
Many times grief, whatever the loss might be, causes a person to blame God for what has happened and they are angry and unforgiving. It is difficult for a person to hear that God did not will this. They do not understand. This will shake their faith to a point of where do I turn; who do I talk to; who will listen?
As true believers, we can be there for them. We know that God and Jesus are always with us.
Remember to believe, pray a lot and together we, with Jesus, will be doing wonderful things for the community and each other.
