The Employment Support Group, sponsored by Saint Anne’s Parish, Hampstead and N. H. Catholic Charities, meets Monday evenings from 7:00PM to 8:30PM to assists area residents who have been laid off from work, or who fear they might be laid off in the future. Participants help one another with job search strategies and networking information, while employment professionals critique resumes, conduct practice interviews, and give tips on interviewing and networking. Since May of 2009, over 300 people have participated, with over 80 finding jobs. There is no cost to attend the group. Attendee’s are asked to bring a copy of their resume.
