| • “Gardening, the Fine Art of Soil to Soul” – Seasonal one hour per week commitment
o For our parish family, the Church buildings are our spiritual home, so we naturally want them to look beautiful both inside and out. The Saints Mary and Joseph Parish Gardeners help by working during the spring and summer months to water & weed the church gardens, so that even our church grounds will give glory to God. More hands are needed for one hour a week, please consider becoming a part of this divine ministry and join us in helping to keep our churches beautiful. | • “First Serve” Coordinator – Weekly, biweekly or monthly commitment
o Coordinate volunteers for coffee and donuts after mass each week. Volunteers are needed to help implement the program at both campuses. |
| • “End 68 hours of Hunger” Birthday Coordinator – Monthly commitment
o Know you are making a child smile inside and out! Purchase and wrap 4-5 birthday gifts each month for needy children in the community. (You will be reimbursed) |
| • Kids Church, “Learning and Growing Together in Jesus” Weekly, biweekly or monthly commitment
o Help introduce our younger children to God in a way that is more relevant to their age. (In addition to providing a breather for parents so THEY are freer to worship!) There is a Liturgy of the Word program for elementary school aged children offered at the 11:00am mass each week at the Saint Joseph’s campus, and a nursery program, pre-school program and Liturgy of the Word program for elementary school aged children during the 9:30 mass each week at the Mary Queen of Peace campus. |
| • Keeping God’s House Tidy – 2 hours per week. Weekly, bi weekly or monthly commitment
o Assist Paul, our facilities expert with weekly needs at both campuses. |
| • Are You a Social Butterfly? – Approximately 1-2 hours per week commitment
o Do you love Twitter? Our parish Media Ministry is looking for a volunteer to manage our Twitter account. This person would post, like or share a few things each day to increase our parish presence on social media and our social media followers. | • Parish Website Assistance – Approximately 1-2 hours per week commitment
