The center is coming together! Our signs are up!! We are still in need of a refrigerator, kitchen table, cabinet unit with shelves, etc. if you know of anyone wanting to donate! The Center is in St. Julie Hall but the groups will meet temporarily at Mary Queen of Peace while renovations are being complete at St. Julie Hall.

In addition to an Open House in the Fall, our youth groups are beginning to make summer plans. The elementary youth group is planning a movie night and the middle school group is discussing having a rock-a-thon (rocking in rocking chairs to raise money for charity and the youth center)!

At this week’s elementary aged meeting we played a game in which a letter of the alphabet was given and we wrote words beginning with letter… the goal was to write words we thought others would write for we would receive 5 points for each matching word. Then we considered the God-Point: In Phil 2:1-4 we are told that we are to have the mind of Jesus. We discussed a way we did not have the mind of Jesus this past week, and one way we did. Our challenge this week is to take the way we were NOT like-minded and in similar situations, to have the mind of Jesus.

Youth groups meet weekly:
Grades 3-5 on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm
Due to summer schedules, the Middle School and High School groups will not meet in July and will resume in August.
