Spotlight, the Movie

The 2002 Boston Globe investigation into
the sexual abuse of minors in the Archdiocese
of Boston, will be coming to movie theaters in
November. For some, this film will be a painful
reminder of the abuse they themselves or someone
close to them may have experienced, and likely
will evoke emotions of sadness and anger in many
who see or hear about it.

What Can We Do?

· Please pray for victims of abuse. This is one of the most powerful ways that we can support victims and survivors.

· Victims of abuse are encouraged to contact Joseph Naff, MSW, director of the diocesan Office for Healing and Pastoral Care at 669-3100 x 110, for help in their healing.

· The diocese reports to the civil authorities all allegations of sexual abuse of a minor by Church personnel, regardless of when the abuse occurred via the Delegate for Ministerial Conduct.
