The kingdom of heaven, what is it like? Beauty, peace, love, tranquility, all of the above? We will want for nothing. God will take care of us for eternity.

What do we do on earth to receive this gift? Easy; love your neighbor, help the poor, treat others as you would like to be treated; follow the words of Jesus.

We are His flock. He is our Shepherd. He helps us prepare for our reward in heaven. Ask a little child what their idea of heaven is. Some have profound thoughts such as, a beautiful place where everyone gets along, no sadness or pain. Another hopes for all the candy and ice cream they can eat; while another is praying that they will meet either their pet, grammy or grampy, in this place called the Kingdom of God.

In these troubled times, we pray all will be forgiven and love will reign between people in the world. This is hard, I know, to clear anger, sadness and hardness of your heart. But, to gain the glory of heaven, we must come forth, in our own conversion, and know that God will forgive. Prayer; that is our best tool to overcome our grief and disappointment in our world.

Remember do not be afraid, our eternal glorious life awaits with God in heaven. AMEN!
